I am an Economics Ph.D. student, a woman, and a Democrat–the fiscally conservative, socially liberal kind. I live in the San Francisco Bay Area right now, but grew up outside of Boston and spent a few years in DC after college–and I plan to move back to that political playground as soon as I finish my dissertation. Until then, this blog is my escape from the Ivory Tower.
